TOLULOPE ITEGBOJE

Tolulope is passionate about storytelling. As a Nigerian, he is curious about the transformative effect and possibilities that storytelling has on people’s perception of Africa. This informs his goal as a filmmaker to drive positive change by telling high quality, entertaining, informative, and authentic African stories to people all over the world.
Since completing the Masters in Film making program at the London Film School, he has collaborated as a producer and director with several creatives to achieve this goal. Working with talented creators has resulted in the production of films that have screened to positive reception at various festivals; as well as a career in advertising as Head of Production for Nigeria’s leading marketing communications group, X3M Group. At X3M he produced well received audiovisual campaigns for brands like Etisalat, DStv, GOtv, and Three Crowns Milk.
As an independent producer and director, he has gone on to create beautiful motion pictures for brands such as Kuda, Budweiser and Nestle. A few years ago, he collaborated with a team of talented creatives to produce and direct a life changing story about street boys (popularly called area boys) in Lagos, Nigeria. The documentary was licensed by Netflix to stream globally, which so far counts as his biggest claim to fame. Yet.
