Following its announcement of open submissions in June 2024, The Annual Film Mischief has closed submissions and rolled out official selections. According to Film Rats founder, ‘Chukwu Martin, the festival received over 100 submissions across Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania. Following a thorough selection process, 25 films were selected. This year’s lineup is a vibrant celebration of African experiences, showcasing story worlds, talents, and perspectives. From shorts to feature lengths to documentaries the official selections promise to delight, provoke, and inspire. The festival’s goal continues with its theme “Shoot The Culture Too”, an offshoot of last year’s.
